With a BS in Physical Education and a concentration in Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University, I've spent 20+ years as a dedicated Personal Trainer and fitness professional.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS) since 2002 and a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (NSCA TSAC-F) since 2015, I bring extensive expertise to my training programs.

What if I can't make it to a scheduled session?

Late Session Cancellation Policy

We strive to provide exceptional service and support to all our clients, and we understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally require you to cancel or reschedule your scheduled training session. To ensure the smooth operation of our training schedule and to respect the time of both our clients and trainers, please review our late cancellations policy below:

  • Cancellation Notice. We kindly ask that you provide written notice of any requests to cancel or reschedule your training session at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust our schedule accordingly.

  • Late Cancellations. If you need to cancel your session with less than 24 hours' notice, please understand that this may impact our ability to accommodate other clients. In such cases, the missed session will be deducted from your available sessions.

  • No-Shows. If you fail to attend your scheduled training session without prior notice, you will be considered a no-show, and the missed session will be deducted from your available sessions.

  • Exceptional Circumstances. We understand that emergencies and unexpected events may occur, and we will consider exceptions to our late cancellations policy on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as soon as possible if you encounter extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending your scheduled session.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in adhering to our late cancellations policy. Your commitment to your fitness journey and respect for our time as professionals are vital to maintaining the quality of our services. Thank you for choosing us as your personal training partner.

What if I want to cancel my subscription?

Personal Training Membership Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can get busy, and circumstances may change. If you need to cancel your personal training subscription, we're here to assist you. Please review our cancellation policy below:

  • Cancellation Notice. We kindly ask that you provide written notice of your intention to cancel your subscription. This allows us to process your request promptly and ensures clarity for both parties.

  • Cancellation Timing. You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, to avoid being billed for the next monthly period, we recommend submitting your cancellation request at least five business days before the next billing date.

  • Billing Cycle. Please note that your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current monthly billing cycle. You will not be billed for any subsequent monthly periods after your cancellation request has been processed.

  • No Additional Fees. We do not charge any additional fees for canceling your subscription. We believe in earning your continued training with us through the quality of our services and the results you achieve.

To initiate your cancellation, please contact us with your request, and we'll assist you with the process. Thank you for choosing us as your personal training partner, and we hope to have the opportunity to train with you again the in the future!

What happens in months with 5 weeks?

We've factored those 5 week months into the structure of our personal training subscriptions. No additional purchase of a single session or multiple sessions will be necessary.

What happens to unused sessions?

At the beginning of each monthly billing cycle, your bank of available sessions is filled specific to your personal training subscription's allotment of sessions.

Each delivered session is subtracted from your remaining balance of sessions. Missed and no show sessions are also subtracted from this balance.

Sessions that have gone unused by the start of the next monthly billing cycle are considered to be expired and do not carry over for use in the next month or any future month.

We offer a free phone or video conversation when you start your application. If we're a good fit, our 1st official paid session will follow where we'll perform a thorough assessment, the results of which are used to develop your personalized program.

In which towns or cities are you available for in-person training?

In-home & outdoor personal training are available in Ashland, Belmont, Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Framingham, Marlborough, Natick, Newton, Sudbury, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Wellesley, & Weston, Massachusetts.

Online personal training is available for those inside or outside of this area.

How do you customize fitness programs for individual clients?

Each client undergoes a thorough initial consultation and fitness assessment. Based on your goals, fitness level, and any health concerns, I design a program that is tailored specifically for you, ensuring it's both effective and enjoyable.

Are your services suitable for all fitness levels?

Absolutely! My services are designed to cater to all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. I've trained clients from 8 - 93 years of age. And, while my primary certification is specific to working with athletic teams, there's an athlete in all of us. So, I'm able to modify workouts to meet your current fitness level and progressively increase the intensity as you improve.

Do you offer nutrition advice or meal planning?

While my primary focus is on fitness training, I believe in a holistic approach to health. For detailed nutrition advice or meal planning, I recommend consulting with a Registered Dietitian or another qualified nutrition professional. I can refer you to trusted experts in the field to ensure you receive professional and personalized nutrition guidance. While personal trainers can certainly have intelligent conversations about nutrition, it's outside of their scope of professional practice to provide prescription in this area.

Do you provide online or virtual training sessions?

Yes, clients can elect in-home, outdoor, online sessions, or a mix of each. Start your application and we can discuss your specific needs in greater detail.

What if I have a specific injury or medical condition?

I have experience working with clients who have various injuries or medical conditions. I will modify exercises and create a program that is safe and effective for your situation. It's essential that you consult with your physician before starting any new fitness program.

How long will it take to see results?

The time it takes to see results varies depending on factors like your starting point, goals, commitment, and consistency. Generally, clients start to notice improvements in their fitness levels within a few weeks and more significant changes within a few months.
