At Adelante Fitness, we're passionate about making a difference through fitness.
Each event isn't just a personal challenge. It's an opportunity to support meaningful causes through fundraising efforts. Whether you're drawn to races, hikes, or group workouts, our events are crafted or selected with your fitness goals and a philanthropic spirit in mind.
My earliest memories of participating in charitable giving were when I was 9 years old. I recall receiving pledges and donations for:
In the 1st, I'd set goals of 1,000 kicks, and, in the 2nd, 64 lengths of a 25-meter pool, to equal a mile of swimming.
No matter where life and work have taken me, I've made a point of giving back and
rallying friends and clients to become teammates to do the same
together. Here are a few of the adventures along the way:
On a whim, I joined the group of fine humans pictured, to take part in 48 hours of running a short loop course. I reached 100.95 km (almost 63 miles), while raising funds for the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
Clients and friends climbed the 61 flights of stairs of the Hancock Tower in Boston, raising funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Among those pictured above is Bobby Villarreal (2nd from left) of Rreal Fitness and Wellness in Brookline, MA. Certainly, give him a shout if his is a more convenient option for your fitness needs. He and his team are A+!
As part of a team created by the Endurance Society, we joined in on a quick, Winter dip in Lake Champlain in support of Special Olympics Vermont.
An amazing adventure as part of the NF Endurance Team in support of the Children's Tumor Foundation.

With close to 30,000 other runners, I've enjoyed the incredible experience of the Boston Marathon. My race in 2016 was dedicated to raising funds for the ALLY Foundation.
